A record of how your
horse is loading.

A pad sits under the shoe for one shoeing cycle and records how the horse loaded each heel. At the next shoeing we read it and report the loading asymmetry — how far one heel is carrying more than the other — for your vet and farrier.

A real reading from a thoroughbred in training, over one shoeing cycle.

How it works

01

Fitted at shoeing

Your farrier fits the pad under the shoe as normal — wedge, rim or full, whichever suits the foot.

02

It records

Across the cycle it takes an impression of where the hoof presses hardest. No sensors, no batteries.

03

Read at the next shoeing

It comes off with the shoe and we measure it.

04

You get the report

One page, in plain language, for your vet and farrier.

What the report says

FootInner heelOuter heelAsymmetryReading
Left front1.701.69under 1%Balanced
Right front2.732.1312.3%Mild

Asymmetry is the number. It is the difference between one heel and the other, as a percentage — under 5% balanced, 5–15% mild, 15–25% marked, above 25% pronounced.

Both heels, one pad. Same pad, same cycle, same horse — so what you're seeing is the difference between them, not between two instruments. These are relative readings, not a force measurement and not a diagnosis.

It compounds. One report shows this cycle. Three or four show the direction of travel.

Founding cohort, 2026–27 season.

Each pad is made for a specific hoof and read by hand, so the first group is small on purpose. If you're on the waitlist, we come to you before anyone else — and you keep the founding rate for as long as you stay in.
